Best residential elevators made in America
The original U.S. home elevator company, providing Virginia with space-saving, code-compliant elevators for nearly a century.
Benefits of a Custom Home Elevator
Our founder designed the first elevator for homes, making us the original company to bring them into American homes, including many here in Virginia. We build our elevators to order to ensure they fit your home exactly. When our dealer installs it, you’ll benefit from:
- Increased market appeal: Home elevators attract accessibility-focused buyers and those wanting to age in place across the Commonwealth.
- Safe and reliable mobility: Standard safety features include gate monitoring, emergency stops and door interlocks, plus high-quality materials for reliability.
- Enjoy seamless access: Cabs can give everyone convenient, independent access throughout the home.
Our Five-Step Design and Installation Process in Virginia
Our process follows these steps:
- Connect with your local authorized dealer: Contact your nearest Virginia dealer to schedule an on-site assessment. They will gather design preferences and structural information from your architect and engineer.
- Select a drive system: Based on your layout, clearance measurements and goals, the dealer will recommend a hydraulic, cable drum or MRL overhead cable drum drive system.
- Choose a cab style: You can choose from six standard cab styles sized to your needs or a fully custom design.
- Configure gates and doors: Take your pick from more than 18 configurations, with one or two openings depending on your cab selection.
- Await elevator drawings for approval: We’ll give the hoistway and elevator drawings to your dealer for approval, ensuring all your specifications, measurements and guidelines are met.
