For nearly a century, we’ve helped people make their homes easier, safer and more comfortable to navigate. Our custom home elevators offer several advantages, such as:
- Safety and reliability: Standard safety measures include emergency stops, interlocks and gate monitoring. Our elevators also have backup battery power for unexpected outages, providing peace of mind for our New York customers.
- Accessibility and mobility: Home elevators travel up to six floors, providing access for mobility‑impaired users and those who want to age in place.
- Home value: Increase value by opening the home to accessibility‑focused market segments, with added functionality and a design that blends seamlessly with any home, boosting the resale potential of your New York property.
Our Straightforward Design and Installation Process
When you reach out to your closest Inclinator dealer, the process is as follows:

- Drive system: Based on your layout, dimensions and needs, the dealer will recommend our MRL overhead cable drum, hydraulic or cable drum drive system.
- Cab style: Pick one of six styles to personalize, or request a fully custom design.
- Gate and door configuration: Choose from over 18 configurations and one or two openings.
- Approval and installation: Finally, we’ll give the hoistway and elevator drawings to your local dealer for approval to ensure all your specifications are met.

What Our Customers Are Saying
Tailoring Your Home Elevator Installation
We offer you choices for factory finishes to personalize your cab further, or we can leave things unfinished for your contractor to do on-site.
Walls
If you chose the 200, 250, 300 or 400 cab style, you can select from our exotic hardwood veneers. The 500 cab comes with acrylic panels, while the 100 variation uses a paintable medium-density fiberboard.
Flooring
Experience the durability of the commercial-grade laminate we include, with your choice of synthetic wood grain finish or unfinished oak.
Ceilings
Our 500 cab has an acrylic dome ceiling, while the 100 features a white laminate. If you have a wooden-walled cab, we’ll match that with the ceiling.
Lighting
We’ll configure up to four LED overhead lights in the factory, and you can add your own lighting.
Fixtures
Customize your hall station and operating panel with three finishes. You can also choose from round metal or wooden handrails.
