We absolutely enjoy working with Inclinator! From their elevator production department to their parts department, they are always accommodating to our needs.
The original U.S. home elevator company, providing New Jersey with space-saving, code-compliant elevators for nearly a century.
Custom Elevator Designs Tailored to Your Home
We’re the first home elevator company in the United States, starting nearly a century ago with our founder developing a device to help his neighbors with their mobility needs. Since then, we’ve taken this care into every design with our custom design process, benefiting our clients in New Jersey in the following ways
- Accessibility and safety: This elevator will help with aging-in-place, injury recovery and keeping people independent while reducing fall risks on stairs. We also include built-in safety systems like emergency power and signaling.
- Improved marketability: A well-designed and fitted home elevator opens up different markets and adds to the home’s aesthetic and functional value for your New Jersey property.
- Optimized use of space: You can make better use of your home’s space since an elevator creates a smaller footprint than a typical flight of stairs.
Our Five-Step Installation Process
The following straightforward process is how we take a residential elevator in New Jersey from design to installation:
- Contact a dealer: Connect with your local dealer, and they’ll schedule an on-site consultation to gather the necessary measurements and design ideas from your architect and engineer.
- Select a drive system: Depending on your home’s layout, our dealer will recommend one of our three drive systems, which include a hydraulic, cable drum or MRL overhead cable drum.
- Choose your cab: You can choose from one of our six standard cab styles or a completely customized design.
- Pick a gate and door configuration: We offer 18 gate and door configurations with one or two entrances compatible with most of our cabs.
- Final approval and installation: Once we finish the hoistway and design drawings, we’ll submit them to your local dealer in the Garden State. A general contractor can then prepare the site, and installation can begin.
