Customized Elevators for Homes From the Original Manufacturer
Our decades of experience and company values of care, respect and customer service inform our approach to low‑impact, in-home mobility for Anne Arundel County residents. A custom-sized home elevator installation in your Annapolis home provides the following benefits:
- Reliable access: We build to strict standards and size precisely, serving as many as six floors. Our home elevators support users with mobility needs and help future‑proof homes for aging-in-place
- Excellent safety: Standard features include emergency lighting, an alarm bell, door interlocks, and gate monitoring. Depending on the drive system, an emergency battery enables lowering.
- Increased market appeal: A home elevator opens new market segments and can boost value by adding stair‑free access for those who need it. Its seamless aesthetic integration will also help increase buyer interest.
The Inclinator Five-Step Process
When you contact your closest Annapolis-area Inclinator dealer, you’ll begin a five-step process that will guide you from the first meeting to the completed installation:
Step 1: Consultation & Planning
- Homeowner: Contact your local dealer and share any existing home plans or project details.
- Dealer: Conduct an onsite consultation (or architectural drawing review) to recommend the best drive system and hoistway layout for your space.
Step 2: Design Selection & Quote
- Homeowner: Select your design finishes, including cab style, gates, and accessories.
- Dealer: Provide a quote based on your specific selections.
Step 3: Technical Drawings & Permits
- Homeowner: Review and approve hoistway drawings with your contractor and secure necessary permits (if applicable).
- Dealer: Create hoistway drawings with all necessary requirements, and review with homeowner and contractor.
Step 4: Construction & Inspection
- Homeowner: Have hoistway built by your contractor to match approved hoistway drawings – including flush door requirements.
- Dealer: Coordinate with contractor during construction phase to ensure hoistway is being built per the drawing requirements and inspect hoistway after completion.
Step 5: Installation & Handoff
- Homeowner: Attain completed permit paperwork (if applicable), and attend the final review to learn how to operate and maintain your new elevator.
- Dealer: Install elevator, perform safety testing, demonstrate proper operation, and ensure that applicable elevator permit requirements have been satisfied.

What Our Customers Are Saying
Personalize Your Design
We can apply your chosen finishes in the factory or leave them for your contractor to finish on-site.
Walls and Ceilings
We provide choices for popular and exotic hardwood veneers that we can match to your walls and ceilings for our 200, 250, 300 and 400 cab designs. The 100 models’ walls are made of paintable medium-density fiberboard, and their ceilings are white laminate. The 500 models feature acrylic panels and a dome for their walls and ceilings.
Flooring
We install durable, commercial-grade laminate with your choice of synthetic wood-grain finishes. We can also leave it as unfinished oak if you’d prefer.
Lighting
We can factory configure up to four overhead LED lights, or you can configure your own lighting setup.
Fixtures and Controls
You can choose from handrails in round metal or wood, and your operation panel and hall stations will have three finish choices.
