New and Retrofitted Home Elevators in Toms River, NJ
Inclinator® has been producing excellent home elevators for almost a century. We use that experience to retrofit and install safe and reliable home elevators in Toms River. From waterfront homes in Green Island with peaceful bay views to established residences in Silverton, we help homeowners add accessibility to their existing floor plans.
Each elevator is designed and tested to meet or exceed ASME A17.3-2016, the international safety standard for residential elevators. You’ll enjoy these benefits:
- Retrofit expertise for established homes: Residential neighborhoods in this area feature diverse architectural styles, from ranches to Colonials. Our elevators retrofit into existing structures with minimal disruption, working within your home’s current layout and design.
- Waterfront and residential versatility: Whether your home overlooks Barnegat Bay in Green Island or sits on a spacious lot in Silverton, our compact elevator designs adapt to a range of property types and floor plans.
- Minimal structural impact: Retrofitting an elevator doesn’t require extensive renovations. Our space-efficient designs can fit into closets, unused corners or small additions, preserving your home’s existing footprint and character.
- Long-term home value: Adding an elevator to your property enhances both immediate accessibility and future resale potential, appealing to buyers who value aging-in-place features.
Our Five-Step Process
The following straightforward process is how we take a residential elevator in Toms River from design to installation:
Step 1: Consultation & Planning
- Homeowner: Contact your local dealer and share any existing home plans or project details, whether you’re retrofitting a waterfront home in Green Island or updating a ranch-style residence in Silverton.
- Dealer: Conduct an onsite consultation (or architectural drawing review) to recommend the best drive system and hoistway layout for your Toms River property.
Step 2: Design Selection & Quote
- Homeowner: Select your design finishes, including cab style, gates and accessories that work beautifully in Toms River’s residential architecture.
- Dealer: Provide a quote based on your specific selections.
Step 3: Technical Drawings & Permits
- Homeowner: Review and approve hoistway drawings with your contractor and secure necessary Toms River building permits (if applicable).
- Dealer: Create hoistway drawings with all necessary requirements, and review with homeowner and contractor.
Step 4: Construction & Inspection
- Homeowner: Have hoistway built by your contractor to match approved hoistway drawings – including flush door requirements and retrofit specifications appropriate for Toms River homes.
- Dealer: Coordinate with contractor during construction phase to ensure hoistway is being built per the drawing requirements and inspect hoistway after completion.
Step 5: Installation & Handoff
- Homeowner: Attain completed permit paperwork (if applicable), and attend the final review to learn how to operate and maintain your new elevator.
- Dealer: Install elevator, perform safety testing, demonstrate proper operation and ensure that applicable elevator permit requirements have been satisfied.
